Profile Rough: ShopCAM has two types of lathe roughing cycles. With Profile Rough, a series of passes are generated that follow the contour of the shape. You may set the "% step deviation" to allow equal steps. This command also supports different retracts and back angle collision avoidance. 
Rough Turn: With rough turn, a series of parallel passes are generated. Set the "% step deviate" to allow equal steps. This command also supports different retracts and back angle collision avoidance. This example has custom stock defined. |
